The Beekeeper's Apprentice, Or On the Segregation of the Queen is the first book in the Mary Russell series by Laurie R. King. The series revoles around the title character, a young woman from Victorian England who works as a mystery author, who also solves real-life mysteries and crimes. The collection is edited by Michael Reaves and John Pelan, who also contributed the introduction. Doyle's estate approved the book.
